Watercolor Project

ART ONE students have been creating a Design Graph for their Watercolor Project. As you see in the picture, they were to create a 3 inch grid on Manilla paper. They were to draw 3 seperate ideas across the top and then 3 along the side. I suggested Lines then Shapes. After they have done this, they are to combine their ideas to create designs. They are to then add more elements to the squares.

After they have done their Graph (Formative Grade), they are to select one of their squares and apply that design onto Watercolor Paper, for their project (Summative grade).

I will be doing a Watercolor Demonstration on different techniques they could apply to their project, on Wednesday. There is no Color criteria, just to be creative and have fun.
