Week of Oct 1-5

Art One and Art Two are starting a new project this week. Both using the Value Scale concept. Art 1's are using Ebony pencil on White paper. Art 2's are using Colored Pencil/crayons on colored or Black Construction paper.
I have just finished grading the last Projects for both preps. Those grades are in E-school and I will be posting grades in the class. Friday will be my last day to take late work to reflect for UIL.

Impact Aid and Journals

Reminder that Impact Aid forms are to be returned no later than Friday, September 28th in order for your 2nd period to earn a Pizza Party. My Second period had a record breaking return today with 18/24 turned in. I'm hoping for my 3rd year in a row to receive the Pizza Party!!! And Congrats to you 18 who brought it back for your 4 FREE Minor Violations Pass. You will receive these in the morning.

JOURNALS!!!! Grade check on Journals started yesterday and I will be done tomorrow morning. I am looking at weeks 1-4 and giving a Formative Completion grade. Journals are to be done daily and if they are absent they are to get caught up. Week 1 and Monday & Tuesday of Week 2 can be found here on the blog under Journals or I have it printed in my Blog Binder. AND they can look in my personal binder to get caught up. No reason to fail this assignment. At the end of the 9 weeks, I will grade them again on Completion but that time it will be a Summative grade instead of a formative. So it's important to get it all completed.
