Art 1 Learning how to draw Ribbons

Art 1- Value practice

Shading with line. Art 1 students are learning how to shade by using line.

One Liner/Modified Value practice

Students from 3rd & 5th periods were suppose to bring in an image to use for today's practice and possible use it for their project, starting tomorrow. If they forgot, they will lose homework points and they will be able to print something from the class computer. 

Pre-AP/Draw 3 Classes

Today they are refreshing their minds on Value/Shading. They are to then create 4 more images using the One Liner idea along with Shading.

Picasso One Liners

I stumbled across a book last year while looking up Contour Line drawings. It's called Picasso's One Liners. Amazing to me to think he drew with only one single line. This inspired me to have assignments based around this. I had always done this, but never to this extent. So my Pre-AP and Draw 3 kiddos will be introduced to One Liners today and then they will practice to perfect it then they will begin a Project. I am attaching images of Picasso's work along with my 'idea' for a project.
